So, I suppose you're expecting me to say something about the new year.
Actually, I suppose you're not expecting anything, and "you" probably isn't too many people yet. I really don't know, because I haven't gotten any sort of feedback yet.

Anyway, it doesn't mean a whole lot to me; I don't have much to say except that last year went by way too fast (because of how things are for me right now, this year's probably going to be like that too), and I was seriously expecting to be in a house by now.
Of course, now we know that was completely ridiculous, but it seemed reasonable at the time.

So, anyhow, for those of you who actually took my advice and downloaded Egoboo, my playable Cobol class is done.

This isn't actually on my website yet; the Egoboo section there needs to be redone, and I'm waiting for all my stuff to be cleaned up... I have a checklist; next I'm doing at least one special item for the Pirate.

Oh, yes, and I forgot to mention Ring of Eshara when I was doing my whole "this-is-what-I'm-working-on" thing.
It's a nontraditional fantasy novel, and not really many people know about it yet... I've been sending it to two people right now; let me know if you want to be added to the list... The whole thing is a pretty different setting than you're probably used to... it's kind of hard to explain unless you've read it. I mean, it's quite traditional, because it has your basic elves and dragons and whatnot, but I tried bringing in things that aren't usually in books of this genre (from mythology and stuff), and came up with a whole bunch of stuff all on my own... The portrayals of the other stuff are really different, too. Like elves, for instance, are usually this really old race that was around before anyone else, and they're really magical and whatnot, and they're really fast and strong and everything. Well, that's silly, so mine are actually physically very frail, for the most part, but there's a lot of diversity. I don't want it to be like, "This is this race, they're like this," because that's not the way it is. You can't say "People from America are all fat" just because a lot of Americans are fat. I am American, and I'm pretty much invisible when I stand sideways (Stupid example, but you get the idea, right?). Also, humans in my world are the oldest race; they were there before anyone else, and they actually are from our world originally. This world, Maleshra (they refer to ours as Mekthiir), is very different, so it's not that weird for vastly different races like centaurs to have come from the humans, because of magic (which actually isn't "magic" as it has a perfectly understandable scientific explanation).

Anyway, that's about it for today, I think. Not much, but that's all I've got for now.
