Hey, look, post number twenty! Yay! I really don't have anything to say on the subject, which was weird because I used to have like some kinda short speech to celebrate this blogs longevity every five posts or so. Well, whatever.

Hey, remember that microphone I mentioned? Well, it turns out it was in the house the whole time, seriously. It's kind of annoying. But it looks like I'm going to get an opportunity to record (by which I mean the house will be relatively empty and quiet for once) again pretty soon here, so that's cool.

So yesterday we pulled off the infamous Black Hole Glitch in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It was pretty much hilarious.
OK, so I'll explain kinda how this works, but first, sorry, but I'm going to make no effort to explain this to those unfamiliar with the game; it'd just be too complicated. So for those of you who will have no idea what I'm talking about, just skip over this part. Actually, there isn't much substance to this post but video games and weird complaining, which may turn off people who have just discovered it / decided to look at it (I like to pretend that actually happens once in a while, just for fun). Don't worry, though, I usually cover a lot of different subjects, and there are plenty of earlier posts to read and everything.
Anyhow, back to the point.
So the glitch starts out like this: One person grabs a Super Scope and does a neat little trick to give it infinite shots. To do that you have to fire five normal bursts and then two fully charged shots. Then you charge up another one and have someone hit you while you're still charging. This pretty much always gives you an infinite number of shots (if it didn't, you probably did it wrong; try again). So then two other people (they have to be either Fox or Falco) stand across from each other with a gap (it has to be one someone can stand under/between; Hyrule Temple has a good spot for this) in between. Then they both turn on their reflector shields. The person with the Super Scope then fires repeatedly into the area between the other two people by standing behind one of them (he has to be on that person's team so he can shoot through them). This creates total bouncing bullet chaos between the to reflector shields; while this is going on, the fourth person (who has to be Princess Peach, or at least I don't think there's any other very easy way to do it without Peach) jumps up and down, running into the bullets. This creates little sparkly blast things, like a particle for a hit effect, but for some reason, I guess because of all the particles on the screen, it won't remove them. So eventually there are a ton in there and it looks like just a solid beam. At that point, the person with the Super Scope can stop shooting, and Peach has to start throwing in vegetables. The recommended number is fifteen, apparently, because too few and it doesn't quite work right, and too many and it will crash your game because there are too many particles. Once all fifteen vegetables are in there, the two Fox/Falco people can let go of their reflector shields. Then, presto, a Black Hole. Any particles that get near it just stay there, so you can make this huge wad of messy, flaming, shiny... doom? Anyone who goes into gets stuck and goes up to 999% damage; it's possible to get them out but it's kinda tricky to do without getting stuck yourself.
Well, there you have it, that's the Black Hole Glitch. No, I didn't discover this or come up with the technique at all; we just found it on the Internet.

Anyway, I was going to do part two of the list, but I actually have to stop here, because I just realized it's almost eleven thirty, and soon it won't technically be today anymore and I'll be too late.

Instead I'd just like to say that I'm feeling rather ignored. I always feel bad saying that, because then people start being like "Don't be like that; how've you been? Want to play a game or something? What have you been up to lately?" and they weren't even the people I was talking about at all, and I feel guilty.
But anyway, lately I've been feeling bored out of my mind. I didn't know why at first, because I have a TON of stuff to work on, but then I figured it out. Basically, yeah, I have stuff to work on, but it's all stuff I do alone, hiding at home being a weird little hermit (which, strangely, is the exact phrase I used to describe my Egoboo character. Yes, I'm going to actually be a character in Egoboo, or at least may be at some point. But that's another story for a different time). So as you can imagine, I feel kind of bored after a while, but there's not a whole lot I can do about this. I can't really go places and do things, because there's nowhere to go, and I don't know anyone who lives near me at all. I was talking about this today, because I was saying how I'd like to somehow do something for my birthday (which, yes, is in two days), even though we pretty much never do. I still probably will end up just celebrating with my family at home or maybe going to a museum or something.
Anyway, with the Internet, you'd think I could be solving this problem, but nope. Only like three (actually probably more like two, or maybe even one now) people ever read my blog, and I've told other people, but they're just... "whatever." But besides that, I haven't really gotten any good ideas or much detailed feedback, so that doesn't really mean much anyway. Then, with the new game thing I started, everyone either has no time, isn't interested, or won't admit to either one and just says "Really? That's nice..." or "Maybe I'll look at it later." Or "Oh."
Then with MSN and Facebook and email and I dunno, whatever else; everyone seems to just ignore me. I realize people are busy with school, but really, is a "Hi, what are you up too nowadays?" once in a while really that hard?

OK, now I officially feel grumpy, or, more specifically, like I'm going to be interpreted that way; I've been beginning to think I've left whatever part of be perceives emotions somewhere in Albuquerque, which is weird because I've never even been there.
Anyway, expect a happier post tomorrow. I dunno if you'll get one, but I'll just encourage you to expect good things anyway, because I've never learned to do that myself, exactly.

...Ah, I just can't end this without saying SOMETHING exciting!
Oh, that's right. Today's SSBB update included a picture of a sticker of Andy from Advance Wars. I don't know how to interpret that, but some small part of me sees good things ahead (and regardless, another bigger part of me hopes there are big things ahead, regardless of how unrealistic that hope may be) that are related to this.
That won't cheer up non-smash-bros-fans, but oh well. It's all I can do at the moment.

...Finally, he shut up... he was starting to scare me.
